Wendy
I was born and raised in central Alberta and after living away for a number of years, have called this home for the past thirty-nine years.
I am a wife, mother and a grandmother, and love each role. I am involved with, and supportive of Trip’s Place because I believe everyone deserves a life with happiness, a sense of fulfillment and freedom from abuse and trauma.
Shona
Shona is a valued board member of Trip's Place and is very much appreciated for her hard work and attention to detail. Her voice and empathetic heart are valued assets to this cause.
Becky
I spent my young childhood on a ranch near Lac La Biche. A quarterhorse named Matthew and a dalmation named Perdy were my first playmates. There began my lifelong connection with animals. I have spent most of my adult life working with dogs, involved in rescuing, showing, and breeding. I no longer live on a ranch but I still believe in the powerful therapy that comes from the simplicity of ranch life and the bond between us and the animals we care for. I believe Trip's Place can really offer an opportunity for healing and I am passionate to help in anyway I can.
